We're beekeepers, too, and we understand how expensive it can be to get started. But we also know the joys that come from keeping even a single hive, and we're passionate about sharing that experience with others. Maybe you're thinking about starting a hive, but you don't know if you'll have the time. Or perhaps you're worried you won't enjoy it and fear you'll be staring at a bunch of expensive, useless equipment after one season. We don't want to see prospective beekeepers turned away because of start-up costs and the uncertainties that come with any new venture in life. We try to make beekeeping affordable in these times of high prices.
We give you everything you need to get started (minus the bees)! Each kit includes a standard 10-frame hive body and , complete with a screened bottom board, medium super frames, wax foundation, front feeder, inner cover and top. We also throw in a hive tool, gloves, smoker, jacket with veil, and a bee brush. And we're always here to offer advice and encouragement. Just drop us a line or give us a call! Wax foundation is shipped only at the customers request during cold weather. Please specify jacket and glove size when ordering.
